Health is wealth. Don't wait too long to prioritize it.
If you weren't a doctor, what career would you choose?
I would love to write novels like John Grisham.
What's Your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
If I'm not at work, I'm hiking in the woods with my dog.
What's the most surprising thing you've learned in your medical career?
It's amazing how impactful hormones are to every other aspect of your health.
Dr. Lokkesmoe started his career as a pharmacist before graduating medical school in 1987. His titles through the years have included Battalion Surgeon, Staff Physician, Emergency Department Medical Director, Medical Review Officer, and Professor.

What's your favorite treatment to receive?
I love them all, but hormone pellets are my #1.

Everything in moderation. Focus on improving the choices you make 80% of the time.
What's your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
A good book and a hot, bubbly bath.
